Mental Advancement

After looking at my page and seeing that I hadn't updated my journal in a bit... it got kinda awkward... ^^; Whoops that's just the kind of thinking I go through all the time. Why the title "Mental Advancement"? I've been reading up a few things. Just now I've re-read the essay "Self-Reliance" by Ralph Waldo Emerson. Powerful stuff I admit. You should get the chance to read that if you haven't. It makes me think a lot though... Sometimes those kind of things strike you so that you just need to take a short breather and think about what the author is telling you.
